Walter Jacob is a LEED accredited
architect and understands that "Responsible Design" is an inherent
part of good architecture. In other words, to make the world
a better place by being conscious of the way that we change our
environment is not an option but a responsibility. As architects
and planners we are critical component in the modification of our
environment and we take this role seriously. We like to use
the term responsible design because it allows us a broader range of
tools when approaching this problem. Sometimes the way we address
responsible design are not so obvious as in a detail that helps a
well insulated building "breath" better. Sometimes they are
more apparent as in the example for a green roof that we utilized
to that the yard adjacent to the house was not overcome by roof run
off.
