During the design development phase, we work with our client to further develop and specialize their schematic design. The selection of a specific scheme allows us to focus on specifics: color palettes, stone types, tiles etc.. We talk about the heating and cooling systems, energy efficiency, structural systems and whatever technology leads to the most comfortable home environment. The design development process allows us to define and document these specifications in a way that can be communicated to the contractor who in turn can build in a way that is congruent with the unique demands of the project.
